Privacy Policy
How Hyprlab handles your data.
This policy explains what information Hyprlab (“the site”, at hyprlab.co) collects, why, and what your choices are. It is written for a personal blog that also hosts open-source project pages.
Who runs this site
Hyprlab is an independent, personal site. It is published with Ghost and hosted on infrastructure operated by the site owner.
What we collect
- Server logs. Like most websites, our server automatically records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to keep the site secure and running. These logs are retained only as long as needed for operations and security.
- Newsletter / membership (if you subscribe). If you sign up, we store the email address you provide so we can send the content you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- Comments (if enabled). If you leave a comment, we store the content and the name/account you post it under.
- We do not sell your personal data, ever.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies required for core functionality — for example, keeping you signed in if you have an account, or remembering that you dismissed a prompt. If analytics are enabled, they are configured to be privacy-respecting.
Third-party services
Some functionality relies on third parties, each with its own privacy policy:
- Ghost — the publishing platform that runs the site and any membership/newsletter features.
- Our hosting provider — stores and serves the site.
- External links. Project pages link out to services such as GitHub. Once you leave hyprlab.co, the destination site’s privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us (below).
Data retention & security
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, and we take reasonable technical measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date on this page reflects the most recent version.
